Brief

The water leak detector can be considered the most basic item in American smart home security systems. It is used to detect water leaks and promptly alert users, helping to prevent more severe property damage. For this water leak detector design project, we are proposing to Amazon, the largest retailer in the United States.

Design Purpose

Water leak detectors are typically installed in areas prone to leaks, such as near washing machines, dishwashers, basement water heaters, under sinks, and around toilets. The device alarms when water comes into contact with two metal sensing points located at the bottom of the product or its extension probe.

Therefore, a key focus of this design is finding a simple method to install the product on various types of surfaces.
